Biodiversity & Renewable Energy Learning Centre

A unique and interactive learning experience

About the Learning Centre

EFA opened its Biodiversity and Renewable Energy Learning Centre in 2014, as a repository for environmental best practice and environmental education in Sierra Leone. Situated within a 15-acre forested estate on the edge of the Western Area Peninsula Forest Reserve, south of Freetown, the Learning Centre is the first of its kind in West Africa, and a flagship example of green architecture in the region. The Learning Centre is an ideal venue for meetings, events and small conferences.
